ChatGPT Setup
Add a True Markets MCP server to ChatGPT.
The server you need depends on whether you trade. The Market Data server is read-only and needs no account. The Trading server includes every Market Data tool plus login, quotes and trade execution, so if you want both, add only the Trading server.
Requirements
- ChatGPT Plus, Team, or Enterprise plan
- MCP support enabled in your account
Market Data only
Prices, trending assets and AI-generated analysis, read-only. No account needed.
- Open Settings > Tools & Integrations.
- Click Add MCP Server.
- Enter the URL:
https://mcp.truemarkets.co/marketdata/mcp
Trading
Everything in Market Data, plus login, quotes and trade execution. You need a True Markets account; create one at app.truemarkets.co.
- Open Settings > Tools & Integrations.
- Click Add MCP Server.
- Enter the URL:
https://mcp.truemarkets.co/mcp
Verify it works
Ask:
"Give me a summary of the crypto market right now."
ChatGPT calls the get_market_summary tool and returns an AI-generated market digest with trending assets and sentiment analysis.
